ALBION JUNIORS CODE OF CONDUCT

ALBION JUNIORS CODE OF CONDUCT

Please Read Carefully

At Albion Juniors, we’re more than a soccer league; we’re a community built on respect, teamwork, and positive energy. Every coach, player, and parent helps shape the experience for the kids.
By participating in our program, you agree to uphold the following standards of behavior.

1. Respect Above All
We expect every member of the Albion Juniors community, including coaches, players, parents, and spectators, to treat others with respect at all times.
Disrespectful behavior such as teasing, name-calling, yelling, or negative criticism will not be tolerated. Remember, our players learn from the examples set by the adults around them.

Soccer is a contact sport, and moments of physical play, tackles, or emotional reactions can happen.
We ask everyone to show empathy and understanding, as the kids are still learning not only soccer skills but also emotional control and sportsmanship. Mistakes will happen; how we respond to them is what teaches them the most.

2. Positive Sidelines
Support and enthusiasm are always welcome; negativity is not.
Cheer for great effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship from all players on the field.
Please avoid coaching from the sidelines unless you are the assigned team coach, as it can create confusion for the players.

3. Handling Concerns the Right Way
Disagreements can happen, but they should always be handled calmly and privately, never during games or practices.
Conversations about concerns should take place after the game and away from players.
Our goal is to model maturity, communication, and composure for the kids.

This also applies to written communication. Emails, texts, or messages directed toward league staff, coaches, or other parents must always remain respectful.
Rude, threatening, or aggressive messages will not be tolerated and may lead to disciplinary action or removal from the program.

4. League Authority & Enforcement
Albion Juniors reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take action if any individual’s conduct, in person or through written communication, is found to be disrespectful, disruptive, or harmful to others.
This applies to everyone involved, including coaches, parents, players, and spectators.

Examples of conduct that may lead to removal include:
• Verbal abuse, intimidation, or threats toward referees, coaches, parents, or players
• Confrontational or aggressive sideline behavior
• Rude or hostile communication via email, text, or messaging platforms
• Actions that create an unsafe, negative, or uncomfortable environment

Referees, field marshals, and league officials have full authority to ask anyone to leave the field if necessary. Continued issues may result in suspension or permanent removal from the program.

5. Building a Positive Culture
We are all part of the same team when it comes to setting an example for our youth.
By staying positive, respectful, and encouraging, we help every player enjoy the game, build confidence, and develop character.

Let’s keep our fields filled with energy, respect, and good sportsmanship, because at Albion Juniors, how we play matters just as much as the score.
